Report a bug
Include the app you were installing, the source it resolved to, and your Android version. Install failures are usually source-specific.
Request a catalogue entry
Missing apps are a catalogue gap rather than a bug. Send the package id and the upstream URL and it can be added to the scraper.
Security disclosure
This app installs software. Anything touching source verification or package-id matching should be reported privately.
Before you ask
- Confirm the install-unknown-apps permission is granted. It is the cause of most silent install failures.
- Check whether the upstream source page still publishes an APK; indexes change their layout without warning.
- Say whether the app was installed by Mint or already present. Adoption of an existing install is the weaker path.
